At UOB, we provide our clients with holistic end-to-end solutions powered by our API services, enabling your everyday banking and delivering more seamless user experience for your, your customers and your ecosystem partners

  1. API (Application Programming Interface) is a set of formalised commands that enables seamless communication between and you and UOB
  2. Akin to a messenger, API takes an instruction from the initiator and further instructs and triggers the receiver’s system to return instantaneous response back to the initiator
  3. API enables instant communications between you and UOB, facilitating instant payments and notifications, all delivered seamlessly via a secure channel

Pricing
  • Client's system calls API for FX quote.
  • RFQ with rate valid or “hold” for 30 sec. After 30sec quote expires.
  • Trading on >16 ccy pairs a day.
  • Approximately 200 tickets a day.
  • Per ticket size range SGD 100 ~ SGD 1 mio.
  • Trade type is DVP.
  • Support multiple concurrent RFQ sessions.
  • Client's system can add own spread on top of UOB's rate.
  • Trading hours 8am ~6pm, Monday to Friday.
  • API connectivity is via public internet but secured (HTTPS).
  • Message format is JSON.

Booking
  • Once client's system accepts the rate within 30 sec, it triggers Trade Booking Request via API.
  • Settlement between GMO and client's operation at EOD on NETT basis.
  • Client's system can call API for individual trades summary just by indicating start date and end date.
