The team from UOB Yangon visited Thaddha Gone Yi Home located at Bago Division, Southern Center part of Myanmar for their first corporate social responsibility outreach programme. The team travelled 79km out of Yangon to an orphanage which houses more than 300 children. These children had escaped from the Southern and Northern Shan States, during the fighting of national army against ethics rebellion at the border of Lauk Kaung and Nant-Matu in 2014.
The team from UOB Yangon spent the day interacting with these children and also donated drinking water, stationeries, writing book, groceries. Before the end of the day, the team also helped to prepare and dish out lunch for the children.
