To help businesses in the fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry build resilience and stay nimble amid the challenges and volatility brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, UOB and SGeBIZ jointly organised this webinar on 25 May 2021, to share knowledge, expertise and tools for increasing business productivity and savings.
Sharing UOB's outlook on industry trends facing businesses in the FMCG sector, Ms Chen Mian Ying, Head of FMCG, Sector Solutions Group, provided attendees with an outlook on overall consumer demands across ASEAN, the Singapore government's drive to strengthen food security as well as the benefits of digital transformation. Following that, Mr Soumen Sircar, Chief Operating Officer of SGeBiz introduced and demonstrated its suite of enterprise solutions.
The session concluded with a spirited panel discussion where Mr Charlie Seo, Business Development Director of Seo Eng Joo Frozen Food Pte Ltd and Mr Andrew Chan, co-founder of The Soup Spoon Pte Ltd shared insights on their respective digital transformation journeys, enabled by UOB's solutions.
