Terms and Conditions
1. The above offer is only applicable to new Principal Cardmembers who have successfully applied for New York Life Visa Platinum ("new Cardmembers") on or before 30 June 2008. Applicants who have cancelled or applied successfully for New York Life Visa Platinum in the past 12 months will not be eligible for the offer. Each new Cardmember can hold one New York Life Visa Platinum only.

2. If new Cardmembers cancel their New York Life Visa Platinum accounts within the first year from the date of Card issuance, New York Life and UOB will debit an administrative fee of HK$1,500 directly from their respective New York Life Visa accounts.

3. New York Life and UOB do not warrant the quality of the products or services provided by the participating merchants. The participating merchants also do not represent New York Life and UOB. The participating merchants shall be solely responsible for all effects and consequences of the products and services.

4. New York Life, UOB and the participating merchants reserve the right to alter the terms and conditions herein with reasonable notice to New York Life Visa Platinum Cardmembers who will be bound by such alterations unless the New York Life Visa Platinum Cards are returned to UOB Card Centre for cancellation before the date upon which any alteration is to take effect.

5. If the business(es) of the participating merchant(s) no longer render(s), the respective promotional offer(s) will be automatically terminated.

6. In case of any dispute, the decisions of New York Life, UOB and the participating merchants shall be final.

7. Should there be any discrepancy between English and Chinese versions, the English version shall prevail.

2. The rates of retail transactions and cash advances are 24% p.a. (APR 26.82%) and 30% p.a. (APR 36.76%) respectively. The cash advance limit is up to 80% of the assigned credit limit of individual New York Life Visa Platinum Cardmember.
